Incidental Hotel Charges – LAA/LUS

The APFA Hotel Department has received numerous reports concerning unexpected incidental charges as a result of consuming food and beverage items stocked on the top of minibars and/or refrigerators. As a reminder, these items are typically stocked by third party vendors and, unless otherwise noted, will be charged the same as items stocked inside the minibars.

Per Section 6.D.2 of the JCBA, each Flight Attendant shall pay for any incidental charges prior to checking out of the hotel.

APFA Supports TWU Picket at MIA – LAA/LUS

The TWU’s picket for an industry leading contract will be held next week at MIA. With the continued support of all four unions on property, this event will send a strong message to American Airlines that its unionized employees are unified and committed to the fight to maintain industry leading contracts both above, and below the wing.

We encourage APFA members in Miami on August 24th to walk with TWU in a display of solidarity and support.
