Update Your Contact Information – LAA/LUS
There have been issues recently with Flight Attendants experiencing delays when IODs have been filed. One of the main reasons for this is that the address on file with the Company and/or APFA is not up-to-date. This has caused delays in processing claims and can potentially cause problems in receiving compensation from appropriate departments.
LAA Flight Attendants can update their address and other pertinent information via Jetnet.
LUS Flight Attendants should access myHR from Wings and click on the following link:Â
If you have recently moved and need to update your address with APFA, you can submit an Update Your Info Form on the APFA website.

Legal to Fly After Vacation Trip (Paper Legal) – LAA
Â
Article 9.T. of the Foundation Document allows Flight Attendants to fly a trip after a paid absence removal, such as vacation, so long as the amount of time between the trip sequences equals the combination of debrief and sign-in.Â
Example 1: If you have an international vacation carry over trip removal that is scheduled to terminate at 1400 on your ready reserve day on the 2nd, you would be legal for a trip that is scheduled to depart at 1530 on the same day (30 minutes debrief from carry over trip + 1 hour sign-in for new trip).Â
Example 2 (First Leg of New Trip is a Deadhead Leg): If you have an international vacation carry over trip removal that is scheduled to terminate at 1400 on your ready reserve day on the 2nd, you would be legal for a trip that is scheduled to depart at 1500 on the same day (30 minutes debrief from carry over trip + 30 minutes sign-in for new trip).Â
Â
Voluntary Waiver of Flight Duty Limitations (VE)Â – LAA/LUS
Per JCBA Section 11.O., once a Flight Attendant has volunteered to exceed the maximum duty limitations, the agreement cannot be rescinded and VE pay will be paid even if the duty limitations are not exceeded.Â
