Hurricane Irma Update 6 – LAA/LUS
Hurricane Irma has made landfall south of Naples, Florida. Sustained winds are 115 mph with gusts recorded at 160 mph. The storm is moving north at 12 mph. According to the National Hurricane Center at 11:00 (ET) this morning, the forecast track of this storm has shifted fifteen miles to the east. A storm surge warning wraps around the state, from Brevard County to Tampa Bay.
All flights are cancelled today in the following Florida and SE markets:
DAB, EYW, FLL, JAX, MCO, MIA, MLB, PBI, RSW, SAV, SRQ, TPA

An update will be issued tomorrow, September 11th, after we receive a detailed report from Operations with damage assessments from affected airports in the wake of the storm’s path.
