UNIFORM UPDATE
Search for a New Uniform VendorÂ
On August 28, we provided an update on the progress that we have made in the process to select a new uniform supplier that will replace Twin Hill. Since that update, APFA has met repeatedly with the Company regarding the selection of a new uniform supplier. Â We continue to push for the roll-out of a new, safe, and reliable uniform as soon as possible. Â
New Fact Sheet about Company Testing of the Current Uniform
APFA is also continuing to monitor and investigate the safety of the current uniform. APFA published a fact sheet regarding the preliminary chemical testing that it had performed on samples of the current uniform. APFA has now developed an additional fact sheet with FAQs regarding the results of the Company’s testing, as well as a page of additional resources regarding the information in the fact sheet. Â
You may find the information in these links useful to share with your medical provider if you are experiencing any suspected issues with the current uniform. APFA is continuing to perform additional testing on the current uniform as well.

Alternatives are Available
If you have concerns about your uniform, we strongly recommend that you seek out one of the alternatives that are available to you. Every Flight Attendant should be able to work in a uniform in which he or she feels safe and has confidence.Â
If you have experienced a suspected reaction to your uniform, APFA highly encourages you to fill out a Uniform Reaction Reportthrough the APFA website. You should also consider filing an IOD if you have experienced an injury or illness that you suspect is related to your uniform. If you have questions about filing an IOD, please contact Bellia Peckson at [email protected]. If you have any other uniform related questions, please contact the Health Department at (817) 540-0108 extension 8301 (LAA) or 8304 (LUS).
