WINGS of Generosity – Donations Needed – LAA/LUS
We are painfully aware of the devastating impacts of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. In addition, we must also recognize the tragic earthquake in Mexico City, Mexico. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you and your families who have been impacted by these disasters.Â
We have colleagues who reside and commute from all corners of the world. In the wake of these disasters, our need for donations are in great demand.Â
We can’t do what we do without the generosity of our donors, along with the can recycling efforts from our Flight Attendants while flying the line.Â
Please share this with your family and friends. Every donation, small or large, will bring much needed relief to those in need:
Â
We invite everyone to visit our website and learn the history of the Wings Foundation and the Flight Attendant Disaster Relief (FADR).Â

Uniform Reaction Update –Â LAA/LUS
On September 20th we marked the first year since the introduction of the new uniform at American Airlines. Â Even prior to the uniform roll-out, we began receiving reports from our members who were experiencing adverse physical reactions when wearing the garments.
As of today, there have been 4,002 Flight Attendants who have filed uniform reaction reports.
Please continue to utilize the Uniform Reaction Report Form on the APFA website if you experience a suspected reaction to your uniform.
