Hurricane Maria Letter of Agreement
A Letter of Agreement (LOA) was reached with the Company that provides protection for SJU designated commuters who were impacted by Hurricane Maria.Â
The provisions of the agreement include, but are not limited to:
- Ability to use PVDs/Filler Days or Move Up Current Year Unused Vacation to Cover Lost Trips
- Attendance/dependability protection
- Consideration for those who incurred a severe hardship as a direct result of Hurricane MariaÂ
If you are a SJU designated commuter Flight Attendant who lost time as a result of Hurricane Maria, please refer to this LOA for the options available to you.
Flight Attendants wishing to exercise any provisions outlined in this letter should notify their Flight Service Manager (FSM).
Situations that fall outside the parameters listed in this letter will be handled on a case-by-case basis with your FSM.
