Tweet to Support Our Sisters & Brothers at Allegiant Air – LAA/LUS
As you may know, Allegiant Air Flight Attendants represented by our Sisters and Brothers of the Transport Workers Union (TWU) have been fighting management for a fair first contract for over six years. After a failed Tentative Agreement last year, they have returned to the table; but after 9 months, management continues to stall and stonewall—tactics with which we we are all too familiar.Â
Recently, TWU filed with the National Mediation Board for a proffer of binding arbitration and possible self-help that could lead to a strike if granted.
Two weeks ago at the TWU International Constitutional Convention, a resolution was passed in support of a fair contract for Allegiant Flight Attendants, and newly elected President John Samuelsen pledged the full support of the TWU. Today, TWU has launched that effort with a full page ad in the Las Vegas Review Journal.Â
Please show your support for our TWU Sisters and Brothers at Allegiant by tweeting out your message to @Allegiant:
Tweet @Allegiant:Â Stop putting your profits ahead of your workers @Allegiant! #StopAllegiantGreed #ContractNow
