The swift, heroic actions of the crew resulted in no critical injuries being reported and is a testament to the skill and professionalism of the first responders APFA is so proud to represent.

FAA Cabin Safety Checks – LAA/LUS
The FAA will be conducting cabin safety checks at all bases through the end of March 2018. Flight Attendants should be prepared to answer questions about the Inflight Manual (IFM) and demonstrate their ability to use the Flight Attendant tablet.
For those Flight Attendants who have already attended CQ 17-18, you should be prepared to locate information within the Comply365 application.
Additionally, you can expect FAA cabin safety inspectors to verify that:
- The Flight Attendant tablet is powered on at the time of sign-in allowing downloads, updates or new content.
- The tablet battery is at 90% or better for the first flight of the day.
- The back-up battery has 100% charge and is stored in the charging case or original clear plastic case.
- The IFM is updated to the most current version available on both the Comply365 application and the PDF version under the IFM icon.
