Is an onsite clinic right for you?
The clinics are staffed with doctors, nurse practitioners and nurses offering routine regulatory and OSHA testing as well as travel vaccinations, flu shots and bio-metric screenings that help you earn wellness rewards. Team members can also receive first aid and treatment for on-the-job injuries, or care for illnesses like cold; flu; or ear, eye and sinus infections. Plus, bring an order from your doctor and the clinic can help you with any needed blood work.
Who can visit a clinic?
Services are available to all mainline American Airlines team members. All preventive services (like flu shots and bio-metric screenings) are provided at no cost. Immediate care services (such as rashes, injections or cold) will require a co-pay. Team members on the Standard, Value or PPO insurance plans and international team members will pay a $20 co-pay and team members on the Core plan or any other plan will pay $40. Plus, if you’re in the Core plan, once you’ve met your deductible, it’s only an $8 co-insurance at the clinic.
Wishing you the Happiest of the Holiday Season!! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to each of you. Thank you for everything you do each and every day. Fly safe and take care of one another.
