2.26.18 – (LAA/LUS) – Willingness-to-Serve Posted for APFA Negotiating Committee

WILLINGNESS-TO-SERVE – APFA NEGOTIATING COMMITTEE

The APFA National Ballot Committee would like to advise all Flight Attendants that a Willingness-to-Serve notification is being posted today for the elected representatives of the APFA Negotiating Committee.

Section 15 of the APFA Policy Manual provides that APFA members shall elect two of the six representatives on the APFA Negotiating Committee. (Two other representatives are elected by the Board of Directors, and the remaining two are appointed by the National President.)

If you are interested in running for an elected Negotiating Committee representative position, the WTS form can be found on the APFA website and is due in the designated Post Office box by 10:00am CT on March 27, 2018.

Ballots will be mailed to the membership on April 16, 2018. Ballots will be retrieved at 10:00am CT, May 16, 2018, and the ballot count will commence at that time. To be able to vote, each APFA member must be a member in good standing (no more than sixty (60) days in dues arrears) by 5:00pm CT on May 11, 2018.

Please make sure your address is current with APFA. If you have moved, please email [email protected] with your address by March 1, 2018 to ensure your ballot for our National Officer re-run election and the upcoming Negotiator election reaches you. Your ballot will go to the most current address on file when we update our roster on the evening of March 1, 2018.
