4.02.18 – (LAA/LUS) – Deadline Approaching for Duplicate Ballots in the National Officer Re-run Election

The National Ballot Committee (NBC) wishes to inform all Flight Attendants that ballots were mailed on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 for the National Officer Re-Run Election. Ballots were mailed to the most current address on file with the APFA. If you have not received your ballot by now, please contact the NBC at [email protected] or 817-540-0108 ext. 8311 to request a duplicate ballot. The last day for the NBC to send a duplicate ballot is April 9, 2018.
The ballot packet you are receiving contains the ballot, voting instructions, candidate information, a secret envelope for the ballot to be placed in, and a postage paid return envelope for the mailing of your ballot. If you lose either the secret envelope or the return postage paid envelope, have no fear. You may place your ballot and the stub that is attached to the ballot in your own envelope(s) and mail to:

Ballots must be received by 10:00am CT April 13, 2018. The ballot count will commence immediately following the retrieval of ballots. Please understand, that if using your own envelope, you must pay the postage. Also, the candidate information can be found on the APFA website:
For your vote to be counted, you must be a member in good standing (no more than 60 days in dues arrears) by 5pm CT, April 9, 2018. The dues department can be contacted at [email protected] or 817-540-0108 ext. 8151.
The National Officers re-run election is being conducted under the supervision of the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Labor-Management Standards (DOL).
