11.02.18 – Elections Matter
APFA Members,
Who do you want representing you in Washington? Do you stand with working men and women? Your member of Congress gets elected on Tuesday and your voice matters—exercise your fundamental right to vote.
Only 4 days until the 2018 Midterm Election. Where will you be on Tuesday, November 6th? Find your polling place.
Many APFA members have already taken advantage of absentee and early voting. Some states offer early voting through the end of the weekend so you can cast your ballot when it works for you.
There are toss-up races in nearly every state. Arizona, Texas, Florida and Missouri have especially tight Senate races. We need APFA members to show up to the polls because decisions that are made in Washington affect our profession, our union and all union members across the country. Find out who is on your ballot and learn about what they stand for.
This is by no means a complete list but here are some candidates who are running for election and reelection that have been supportive of APFA and the issues and values that we believe matter. Your voice, your vote— make it count!
More information for voters can be found on the APFA website.
