Speaker
In ROTA, if you are bidding a trip as a speaker but would also like to be considered for the trip as a non-speaker, you must place that bid twice. Once with the speaker box checked and once without.
ePays
LUS Flight Attendants now have access to ePays (epays.aa.com) to view a breakdown of your scheduled and actual activity hours for prior months.
LAA Flight Attendants who have transferred to PBS bases and LUS Flight Attendants who have transferred to non-PBS bases will still view pay stubs according to their legacy carrier, until all Flight Attendants are on the new payroll system.

Where Am I Staying? How Do I Get There?
We continue to receive reports about the lack of hotel/transportation assignments. Several bases have filed NOD’s addressing the violation of our contract (Art. 6, D.,3).
Continue to document instances when your hotel is not assigned prior to your trip by completing a hotel/transportation debrief or email [email protected].

“IT” has not kept pace with FOI, resulting in a lack of accurate hotel/transportation information being loaded into CCI and Crew Portal. While not perfect, the DECS entry, found in FOS has been the most effective tool in locating your layover information.
HIHTL/FLT #/DATE/DEP CITY (Ex. HIHTL/100/27NOV/JFK)
I appreciate your frustration when trying to plan your layover and not having accurate or any hotel/transportation information available. We will continue to pursue a remedy to this violation of our contract. Your documentation is crucial!

Turbulence Injuries
If you sustain an injury due to turbulence, notify the Captain immediately that you have been injured and request that the turbulence be documented. If medical treatment is necessary it is imperative to let the Captain know.
IODs may be filed 24/7 by calling 1-844-777-8463. Your call will be answered by a triage nurse with Sedgwick. You are NOT required to follow the nurse’s recommendations and are free to seek medical treatment. Simply advise the nurse if you intend to seek immediate medical care.
All Flight Attendants should also file a CERS Report. The CERS Report is located on the Flight Service website by clicking on Safety and Security.
– Bellia Peckson, APFA National IOD Chair, [email protected]
Cabin Discrepancy Worksheet
Flight Attendants should report inoperative cabin equipment, cabin discrepancies and/or Smoke / Odor / Fume events to the Flight Deck via the Cabin Discrepancy Worksheet (CDW).
The CDW is designed to provide specifics and allows to Flight Deck to ensure that the item is properly recorded in the aircraft log book. The CDW can be found in the service kits onboard.

New Members and Leaders
This week in Washington, Democrats are jockeying to see who will become Speaker of the House in the 116th Congress. In all likelihood it will be former Speaker, Nancy Pelosi. She is an experienced and skilled leader who has pushed for the full inclusion of women in all aspects of political life and, as of today, there is no one running against her. In the next few weeks we anticipate that House Committee assignments will be divvied up. The Government Affairs Department is watching closely to see who will serve on Transportation and Infrastructure, the committee that most affects our profession. Meanwhile, this week many new members of Congress are in town getting to know as many organizations and advocates as possible. APFA will be making the rounds to meet new members and congratulate old friends.
– Allie Malis, APFA National Government Affairs Representative, [email protected]
As of today, there have been 4,904 Flight Attendants who have filed uniform reaction reports.
Please continue to utilize the Uniform Reaction Report Form on the APFA website if you experience a suspected reaction to your uniform.
