Pay for ROTA Processing Issues

To Miami-Based Flight Attendants:

I am happy to announce the resolution of two issues related to ROTA for MIA-Based Reserves.

On August 30, 2018, the ROTA system did not process awards for August 31^st for MIA-Based Reserves. APFA began discussions with the company to provide a monetary resolution for all MIA Reserve Flight Attendants who were available for August 31^st, 2018 and affected by this violation. After months of discussion, an agreement was reached December 10^th, 2018, to pay affected flight attendants the amount of five (5) hours pay, no credit (above guarantee).

On September 23, 2018, another issue occurred with the ROTA assignments. While ROTA processed the sequence and standby assignments, it failed to award the RAP assignments. Again, APFA began discussions with the company to provide a monetary resolution for all MIA Reserve Flight Attendants for the failure in assignment of RAP awards on September 23, 2018. An agreement was reached November 29, 2018, to pay affected flight attendants the amount of three (3) hours pay, no credit (above guarantee).

The company has assured me the pay mentioned above will be paid-out on the December 31^st, 2018 paycheck. It will be displayed as: FlyDFP-GuarPrem.

APFA will continue to research and resolve individual issues submitted to [email protected] on an individual basis.
