Presidential Grievance Filed
Improper Implementation and Programming of Contractual Language
This week, APFA filed a Presidential Grievance on the Company’s Improper Implementation and Programming of Contractual Language in regard to: Positive Contact for Reserve Assignments, Reserve Call-out Time, and Priority of Assignment and Trips Out of Base. It has been, and remains, our position that the company is violating the Joint Collective Bargaining Agreement (JCBA) and past practice by counting voicemails as “positive contact,” violating maximum call out parameters, and routinely transferring trips out of base without following the JCBA process for doing so. We have requested expedited arbitration on these topics. Click here to view the President Grievance in its entirety.
