Letter of Agreement – Pay Protection for 737-Max Cancellations
As was stated in the March 14th, 2019, APFA Special Hotline, we have secured an agreement with the company regarding Pay Protection for the 737-Max Aircraft Cancellations, which is in addition to the protection provided in the current JCBA Language. At the time we reported out the pay protection details to our Flight Attendants, we had not yet secured the language to protect our Reserve Flight Attendants. Below is the protection for Reserves Flight Attendants, which is also included in the final Letter of Agreement.

Reserve Flight Attendants who experience cancellations involving a sequence originating on days off in a. and b. above will be required to participate in the 1500 HBT ROTA run the day prior to the origination date of the cancelled sequence/duty period. Paragraph c. above will apply to Reserves flying trips originating on days off. Current JCBA pay protections will apply to trips originating on reserve days and ETB trips originating on vacation days for both lineholders and reserves.
We are currently in discussions with the company regarding the 737-800 – Oasis Aircraft grounding, and will keep you updated on our progress.
