Talks on the 737-800/Oasis Continue
The company has informed APFA of the continued grounding of the 737 MAX 8 until at least April 24, 2019. All related flights will continue to be suspended. Flight Attendants directly impacted will continue to be pay protected under the terms of the Letter of Agreement currently in place, negotiated shortly after the 737 Max 8 was initially grounded. AA will await further information from Boeing, NTSB and other regulatory parties prior to lifting of the suspension.
Separately, APFA is continuing talks with the company on the 737-800/Oasis aircraft and the inclusion of non-recurrent training unrelated to safety and security in the annual FAA approved CQ curriculum.
