HKG Update – Hotel Relocations
While protests continue in Hong Kong, they are largely peaceful. The Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) is not the focus of the protests at the current time. Only passengers and crew are being allowed entry into the terminal areas. As a result, crewmembers may be asked to provide their Crew ID and/or passport.
Due to concerns with possible traffic delays and road closures in Hong Kong, crews that are laying over will be relocated to an airport hotel for the next few days. Please confirm your hotel assignment via HIHTL / CCI. For those en route to HKG that have had a hotel relocation, you will be advised by the HKG station personnel upon gate arrival. Crews are being met and being briefed by the station personnel on both, arrival and departure.
We continue to monitor the situation in Hong Kong and will update you as necessary.
