New Requirements to be Implemented Next Week for Known Crewmember (KCM)
This evening, APFA was advised of new requirements, issued by the TSA, for those using KCM Access Points. The changes will be posted on the KCM website soon.
The following changes will be implemented beginning Friday, September 6th:For crewmembers in uniform, the crewmember must present:
- A non-expired government issued photo ID
- An aircraft operator-issued crewmember photo ID (your Crew ID)
For crewmembers not in uniform, the crewmember must present:
- A non-expired government issued photo ID
- An aircraft operator-issued crewmember photo ID (your Crew ID), AND
- A third form of ID which may include:
- A valid Flight Attendant Certificate of Proficiency
- A valid Airmen’s Certificate
- A second, non-expired, government issued ID
USP’s (Unpredictable Screening Procedures) went into effect this past Tuesday and have remained unchanged at this time. If you are selected, please follow the direction of the TSA Officer.
