9.06.19 – Lineholder Reserve Designator (LRD) Closes Tomorrow
Lineholder Reserve Designator Tool (LRD)
On the seventh of every month at 1200 (DFW time) the LRD will close. When you log into Crew Portal you will see the LRD tool in the bottom right-hand corner of the page. You will either be in lineholder, tentative, or reserve status in LRD. The LRD will also show your seniority for the group you are associated with.It is important to remember if you are satisfied with your designated status shown when LRD opens, it is unnecessary to use the toggle on the LRD Tool.
The number of flight attendants in the tentative category will be equal to the number of Voluntary Leave of Absence (VLOA) in your base if VLOAs are offered.
For both lineholder and tentative, the default will always be lineholder status. If you would like to be on reserve (senior bump) you would toggle over to reserve. Keep in mind that if you have more than 3 days of vacation and senior bump onto reserve it will not count towards your reserve obligation.
Attached is a presentation with more information and examples regarding the LRD tool. Should you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact us at [email protected] or reach out to the FABRC.
