Hurricane Dorian – Letters of Agreement

On September 27^th, 2019, we were able to secure Letters of Agreement for those affected by Hurricane Dorian.  These agreements will mitigate all missed trips (TM) and personal days (PO) from August 26^th, 2019 thru September 5^th, 2019 that were hurricane related.  These absences will be recoded with an XX removal and will not count against your attendance nor will it count as part of your contractual allotment for POs.

These agreements also allow you to use unused vacation days to cover time lost due to Hurricane Dorian. If you elect to use vacation days, they will cover the duration of the trip or trips lost and will be paid at 3.5 hours per day if less than seven days.

Flight Service is in the process of recoding the hurricane related POs and TMs. Please continue to check your HI10 to insure your TM or PO has been properly recoded with XX, and contact your FSM if it has not been changed soon.
