Update: Cancellations and Pay Protection Q&As for PVG, PEK, HKG
We would like to clarify procedures for balloting Yellow X sequences in the LOA pay protection process. Our previous communication stated balloting for Yellow X sequences was not required, however, we have been advised only Red X sequences do not need to be added to your ballot. Due to our miscommunication to the procedures, the Company has agreed to pay protect those Flight Attendants who participated in previous TTS runs (1FEB-2FEB) and did not ballot for the Yellow X sequences provided all other requirements were met. Starting tonight, 3FEB, Flight Attendants need to ballot for Yellow X sequences.
The Flight Attendants who did participate in the 1FEB and 2FEB TTS runs, please fill out a System Issues Report and select China LOA Protections under “System Affected” so we can ensure you receive your proper pay protection.
We have also learned not all of the PVG and PEK cancellations have been placed into FOS currently. The cancellations will be going in today.
For more information, please refer to the updated Scheduling Department Pay Protection Q&A as a resource for any questions related to these cancellations.
