Voluntary Leaves of Absences (VLOAs) Re-Opened for April 2020

Due to the additional flight cancellations causing a reduction in flying hours, the Company has agreed to re-open the ballots for VLOAs for both Lineholders and Reserves. These additional VLOAs will be processed as normal (following JCBA Section 25.B.2.-6.) and are not guaranteed.

There will be no additional Voluntary Open Line Options (VOLOs) being offered.
Be sure to place a bid in PBS or ensure your standing bid is adjusted to the change in available flying. This is a way to back yourself up in case you are not awarded a VLOA.
To request a VLOA, you will need to submit a ballot through the Flight Service website by clicking on Crew Resources, then Voluntary Leave of Absence under Manning.

Ballots are currently open and will close on Tuesday, March 17 at 0800 DFW Time.
