National Chair and Regional Representative Appointments

Today, the Executive Committee held a special teleconference to confirm the appointments for the National Chair and Regional Representative positions. These positions are two-year terms commencing on May 1, 2020.

Confirmed as reappointed National Chairs by President Julie Hedrick are:

• Cathy Sharp (DFW) for Health;
• Bellia Peckson (DFW) for IOD;
• Thomas Houdek (CLT) for Safety & Security.

The Executive Committee confirmed the following new Chairs, as appointed by President Julie Hedrick:

• Paul Hartshorn, Jr. (PHL) for Communications;
• Brian Walsh (DCA) for Contract Administration;
• Michael Malool (CLT) for Hotels;
• Linda Haertling (DFW) for Scheduling.

The appointment of Paul Hartshorn, Jr. as National Communications Chair will require an additional Board of Director’s appointment to the Negotiating Committee as outlined in Article X, Section 6 of the APFA Constitution. More information will be forthcoming via an APFA Hotline.

Confirmed as Regional Representatives, as appointed by Vice President Larry Salas are:

• Nicholas Bader (MIA), Regional Representative #1, representing the bases of LAX and SFO;
• Grace Allen (PHL), Regional Representative #2, representing the base of DFW;
• Robyn Walters (PHX), Regional Representative #3, representing the bases of ORD and PHX;
• Catt Napper (DFW), Regional Representative #4, representing the base of MIA;
• Raymond Lewis (PHL), Regional Representative #5, representing the bases of BOS and LGA;
• Mark Gentile (CLT), Regional Representative #6, representing the bases of CLT, RDU and STL;
• Alin Boswell (DFW), Regional Representative #7, representing the bases of DCA and PHL.
