Paid Voluntary Leaves of Absence (PVLOA) Reopened for May
The Company informed APFA that they would be offering additional PVLOA’s beginning in May, with a duration of 3, 6, 9, or 12 months. The form is available on the Jetnet Flight Service page or by clicking here. There are no changes to benefits included with the leave. You must be active as of April 12, 2020, to be eligible for a PVLOA.
If you were awarded a one-month Voluntary Leave of Absence (VLOA) for May, you may convert your one-month VLOA to a PVLOA (3, 6, 9, or 12-month leave) on Jetnet. You may not lengthen or shorten a previously awarded PVLOA.
The closing date to apply for a PVLOA will be Friday, April 17 at 0800 CT.
Letter of Agreement: Non-Passenger Cargo Charters
On March 30, 2020, a Letter of Agreement (LOA) outlining the procedure for Flight Attendants working select non-passenger cargo charter flights was signed. The LOA outlines staffing, Flight Attendant responsibilities, compensation, crew rest, and on-duty limitations.
Non-passenger cargo charters shall be designated as open time flying within a crew base and will be available for bidding through TTS/UBL. These trips will be identifiable in TTS/UBL with a 9000 series flight number.
