August Schedule Changes Reminder
As a reminder, due to a drop in customer demand, the Company recently notified APFA of schedule changes for August. The cancellations will be for flights operating between July 31st and August 28th and will be in FOS on Sunday, July 26th, with sequence repairs scheduled to begin the same day.
Trip Trade System (TTS) for August is now open. The first processing run for TTS will be tomorrow, July 24th, at 2300 (HBT). The Electronic Trade Board (ET) will open at 0400 (HBT) on Saturday, July 25th. This will allow Flight Attendants two (2) TTS runs before any sequence changes.
Once the cancellations have been added to FOS, any affected sequence could show “failed continuity,” as American works through the repairing and rebuilding process. You will not be able to trade, drop or pick-up affected sequences until the repair has been completed. If you pick up a sequence in TTS that subsequently cancels, pay protection will be up to the guarantee amounts listed in the August Pay Protection Letter of Agreement.
