8.31.20 – Week of Action: Save Our Jobs – Extend the Payroll Support Program NOW

Save Our Jobs – Extend the Payroll Support Program NOW!
The fight continues, and we will not let up until the Payroll Support Program is extended. We have strong support for this extension in Congress, but we must keep the pressure on our elected leaders to continue negotiating a stimulus bill. 8,099 of our jobs are on the line and many thousands more across the industry. The clock is ticking, but the fight is far from over. We can, and we will get this done, but we need your help. Our strength is in our numbers—let’s activate!
Take two actions every day this week—a 1-2 punch! Be persistent, get through, be that Flight Attendant.
Most actions will take just a few minutes from home or a layover, but if you are in Dallas or Philadelphia on Wednesday, show up in person!

My name is ______, and I am an American Airlines Flight Attendant who has been flying for __ years. Without a stimulus bill, aviation workers like me will lose our jobs on October 1st.
We need Congress and the White House to return to the negotiating table NOW—before 75,000 US aviation workers become unemployed virtually overnight. A clean extension of the aviation Payroll Support Program will save our jobs and support our economy. But for this to happen, Congress and the White House must reach a deal on the next relief package. The entire aviation industry is standing together, but time is running out!
Thank you for supporting aviation workers like me.
