October Pay Protections

APFA is pleased to announce that we were successful in securing additional pay protections above the current JCBA protections through a Letter of Agreement (LOA) with the Company for the October bid month. The pay protections for October will be the same as September, with your protected October guarantee based on your original PBS line value:

Please note: Your Pay Projection (PPROJ) will be raised to your guarantee after all trips flown are included in the PPROJ (similar to September). This includes ETB, TTS/UBL, PBS, carryover time, vacation time, paid sick time, etc. If your October PPROJ is higher than your October guarantee, no action will be needed. If your PPROJ is less than your October guarantee, add the value of lost time (scheduled vs. actual sequence value) due to cancelled flight(s) within a sequence and full sequence cancellation(s) in an amount up to, but not exceeding October guarantee.
