10.24.20 – Alert: Training Cancellations

This evening, APFA was informed that a few training instructors recently tested positive for COVID-19. Out of an abundance of caution, American has elected to cancel all non-essential training, including service and aircraft specific training, through November 3rd, 2020.

Training classes that are operationally required will continue, including Flight Attendants that may be ‘QI’, and all training facilities will be disinfected with normal disinfection procedures, as well as electrostatic spraying.

If you are scheduled for any non-essential training, you will be contacted by the training department for further instructions and rescheduling. If you are on Reserve, and are scheduled for training between October 25 and November 3rd, you will need to bid in ROTA for any training day that has been removed from your schedule.
