Known Crewmember Outages
There will be a nationwide Known Crewmember (KCM) outage on Tuesday November 10th from 2000 to 2300, due to routine maintenance. Please give yourself additional time to go through regular passenger screening.
International COVID-19 Prevention Measures Update
Netherlands Lockdown:
Effective November 4, the Netherlands will be on lockdown for two (2) weeks. This means that museums, cinemas, restaurants, and amusement/zoo parks will be closed. Although restaurants will be closed, the AMS layover hotel restaurant will be open, and you may also order take-out or order via Uber Eats. Shops and supermarkets will remain open.
If you want to purchase food in a supermarket, the nearest market is Albert Heijn Nieuwzijds Voorburgwal (approximately a 10-minute walk, near Magna Plaza). Lastly, unless you are from the same household, your party cannot consist of more than two persons.
Crew members laying over in Amsterdam will be subject to the following requirements:
- Everyone is required to wear a face mask when in public areas.
- Gathering in communal areas will not be allowed, including eating or drinking.
- When in public, you must remain six feet away from other people
England Lockdown:
The United Kingdom imposed a nationwide lockdown effective November 5th. This lockdown only allows people to leave their homes and/or hotel rooms for essential work or medical reasons. Non-essential retail shops will close but will remain open for click-and-collect delivery only. The hotel restaurant and room service will continue to operate for guests and crews. The hotel will also provide a grab-and-go meal service between the hours of 06:00 and 23:00, covering breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The hotel gym will be closed for the duration of the lockdown.
Crew members laying over in London will be subject to the following requirements.
- Everyone is required to wear a face mask when in public areas.
- Gathering in communal areas will not be allowed, including eating or drinking.
France Lockdown:
France imposed a nationwide lockdown effective October 30th. People are only allowed to leave home for essential work or medical reasons. Non-essential businesses, such as restaurants and bars, will close, but schools and factories will remain open. People are still allowed to order take-out food from restaurants.
Crew members laying over in Paris will be subject to the following requirements:
- Everyone is required to wear a face mask when in public areas.
- To leave your hotel, one must fill out a permission form and it stipulates the limits on duration and distance
- Gathering in communal areas will not be allowed, including eating or drinking.
- You must remain six feet away from other people
