An Update on the Flight Attendant Recall Process
The recall process is well underway for our furloughed Flight Attendants. The top 3,000 Flight Attendants on the seniority list are being prioritized for finger printing, training, and returning to the line. Once these Flight Attendants have moved through that process, the remaining Flight Attendants will begin their process to be brought back to the line.
The top 3,000 are being prioritized for fingerprinting so those that need training may be scheduled as quickly as possible. The prioritization will be as follows:
1. Those Flight Attendants in their training grace month
2. Those Flight Attendants who have expired qualifications (QI)
3. Those Flight Attendants in their training base month.
All of the 3,000 most senior recalled Flight Attendants will have the opportunity to return to the line in the first group. American will continuously process recalled Flight Attendants, so it is possible that they may move past the first 3,000 returning Flight Attendants in the first group. Once this subset is fingerprinted, the remaining Flight Attendants will be processed for fingerprinting. After your fingerprinting appointment, please make sure also to collect the pieces of equipment you turned in at the start of your furlough.
If you have any questions concerning your finger printing appointment, please email Talent Services at [email protected].
The pieces of equipment you will be collecting vary on your status:

EVLOA

If you are not in the top 3,000, the timeline to bring back the remaining Flight Attendants will begin sometime in February to have the Flight Attendants ready for the April bid month. More information will be communicated at a later date.
