VEOP and EVLOA-2 Open for Balloting

Voluntary Early Out Program (VEOP)

The VEOP election window opened today, Friday, February 5, 2021, at 1200 CT and will close Friday, February 26, 2021, at 2359 CT. You must be in flying status by Friday, February 5, 2021, to be eligible to take the VEOP. The effective date of the VEOP is April 1, 2021.

Active status means you are a Flight Attendant on payroll receiving pay, including paid sick and vacation leave, salary continuance, FMLA, military leave, or a previously offered EVLOA, PVLOA, STLOA, or VLOA.

Please remember the last ballot you submit will be the ballot processed by the Company. Once awarded, you must accept the VEOP.

Extended Voluntary Leave of Absence-2 (EVLOA-2)

The EVLOA-2 election window opened today, Friday, February 5, 2021, at 1200 CT and will close Saturday, March 6, 2021, at 2359 CT. You must be in flying status by Friday, February 5, 2021, to be eligible to take the EVLOA-2. The effective date of the EVLOA-2 is April 1, 2021.

Active status means you are a Flight Attendant on payroll receiving pay, including paid sick and vacation leave, salary continuance, FMLA, or a previously offered PVLOA, STLOA, or VLOA. In this case, it does not include those on military leave. If you are currently on an EVLOA, you do not qualify for this program.

If you are currently on an EVLOA, you cannot convert your EVLOA to an EVLOA-2; however, if you are on a PVLOA or STLOA, you may elect to take an EVLOA-2 and the benefits associated with your previous leave will terminate on March 31, 2021, and the EVLOA-2 will start on April 1, 2021.

The EVLOA-2 program includes 3, 12, and 18-month leaves.

If you are unsure which leave you are currently on, please go to your Crew Portal homepage. Once there, you will see a two-letter code on your calendar and if you see the following codes you are able to apply for and have the EVLOA-2 extend your leave.

• S1-STLOA12
• GL-GAVLEV (PVLOA)
