Update #3- 2021 Base Representative Election Results

The National Ballot Committee (NBC) is currently working with TrueBallot to finalize the results of the election. The National Ballot Committee understands the concern with the delay in providing the 2021 Base Representative Election results. TrueBallot, the company running the election, is taking full responsibility for this delay and will be providing the membership with a statement stating such.

The ballots and election data (eligible voter list, votes cast, voided ballots, ineligible ballots) were secured immediately following the count last night.

At this moment, the National Ballot Committee is reviewing the ballots that were received that were deemed ineligible. The National Ballot Committee is currently waiting for a final list of the data from TrueBallot that will include:

• Total number of votes cast
• Voids (ballots received that were voided due to improper markings, voting for more than one candidate, etc.)
• Blanks (ballots received that had no vote filled in)
• Ballots received that were deemed ineligible.

Once the NBC receives this data from TrueBallot, it will be reviewed with APFA Legal Counsel. The NBC will then certify the election results and provide those results in a hotline. A full explanation of the delay will be explained in detail.
