3.15.21 – APFA DCA Base Brief: A Message of Gratitude

Hello DCA,

Base election results are out, and I would like to thank Patrick McKiernan, Manuel Chuidian, and Larry Holcombe, who ran for office to represent the membership in a leadership role. These dedicated individuals have the willingness, strength, and commitment to serve their peers. I applaud and appreciate them and welcome their participation in our local base council.

I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank outgoing DCA Vice President Lisa Barnes for all of her support over the past two years.

The new APFA DCA Base Council takes office on April 1, 2021. We have some familiar names on our list and a few new ones, too! Let’s welcome our new APFA DCA Vice President, Dianne Britton. As you know, “Di” has been our local Professional Standards and Employee Assistance Chair for the past few years and has a lengthy résumé accompanying her in her new role.

Our mission as APFA Representatives is simple: we serve you with honesty, integrity, and always with good intentions. More information to come about our Councils interests, duties and contact information. Mobilization, Government Affairs, and CIRT will be addressed in a later communication.

We are a resilient group, and there is nothing we cannot overcome together. We will do our best to serve the DCA Membership.
