COVID-19 Cancellation Update

The operation has been experiencing an influx of cancellations in June and July. Many of these cancellations have been covered under the monthly COVID-related pay protection Letter of Agreement signed by APFA and AA. The cancellation package for sequences originating in July through the 26th of the month is complete. The COVID Cancellation List is updated on the Flight Service Website every Tuesday and Friday, and may be found at Jetnet > Flight Service > Crew Resources > Scheduling.

The Company is still working through June cancellations. If your sequence has been cancelled, the unpaid ‘XI’ removal code may initially be applied. Pay-protected sequences will be recoded to ‘XF.’ While you may double-dip using TTS/UBL, it’s important to remember that you should not use ETB over any calendar day that touches a sequence that is pay protected.
