‘Paulie’s Push’: Boston Logan Airport to Ground Zero
Former Boston-based United Airlines Flight Attendant Paul Veneto will be pushing a beverage cart from Boston Logan Airport to Ground Zero to honor and remember the first First Responders of 9/11 as the 20th anniversary approaches.
A special ceremony will take place on Saturday, August 21, at 10:00 am EDT in the Grand Ballroom at the Boston Logan Airport Hilton, connected via walkways to American Airlines Terminal B. This event will include distinguished guests, speakers, and the family members and friends of the fallen flight crew. All employees, past and present, are welcomed and encouraged to attend. You may choose to wear your uniform or plain clothes.
After the ceremony, employees are invited to help Paul kick off his 200-mile journey to Ground Zero. Employees are invited to walk with Paul at the start of his journey or join him at any point along his route.
More information on the August 21st ceremony may be found here. All of the information and details for ‘Paulie’s Push,’ including his route to Ground Zero and links to offer donations may be found here.
We welcome everyone to remember those lost on 9/11 and help kick off Paulie’s Push to honor our colleagues who were lost twenty years ago this year.
We will never forget.
In Solidarity,
Paul Hartshorn, Jr.
