Update: APFA Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee

Shortly after taking office, your APFA Leadership committed to ensuring that your Union would do everything possible to stand up to hate, violence, and systemic racism. This commitment includes fostering meaningful conversations to support and encourage inclusion and diversity at APFA, our workplace, and the communities in which we reside.

On October 27, 2020, at the APFA Fall Board of Directors Meeting, the APFA Board unanimously passed a resolution that guides the creation and makeup of the APFA Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee. The Committee is off to a great start, and we are pleased to announce the selection of a Chairperson and three Co-Chairs:

• Charlotte Sivels (CLT)

We are grateful for everyone who has stepped up to join this committee, and we look forward to participating in meaningful conversation and action. As leaders, we must ensure that all Flight Attendants are heard, supported, and feel as if they are treated equally.
