Temporary PBS Closure Due to User Interface Issues
We were made aware of issues with the PBS User Interface (UI) today. While this was being resolved, the company put PBS into maintenance mode (temporarily turned it off). The known issues included the following:
•   Regular (domestic) trips were populating when using Prefer Pairing Type: NIPD
•   Certain pairing types were not populating when using the Prefer Pairing Type property
PBS reopened successfully and these known issues appear to have been corrected. We will be closely monitoring the situation and will provide updates if there are any further developments. PBS will close as normal on March 15th at noon CT. As always, we recommend you check your Pairing Set to make sure trips are populating correctly.
Additionally, when PBS opened today the company informed Flight Attendants via the dashboard of three new destinations with a vaccination requirement. SXM, GCM, and POS now require all Flight Attendants working either a turn or a layover to these destinations to be vaccinated. If you do not have your proof of vaccination on file with the company, you will not be awarded trips that contain these destinations. APFA was not notified of these new vaccination requirements prior to PBS opening.
