Vaccination Restriction Lifted for Lima, Peru (LIM)

Yesterday, the company notified APFA that the LIM crew hotel no longer requires crewmembers to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination to enter the premises. While you will still be required to show proof of vaccination to enter other enclosed spaces outside of the crew hotel, this means Flight Attendants are not required to be vaccinated to fly the trip.

How will this impact the PBS award?

Because this notice came right as PBS was closing for bidding, the vaccination requirement will still be in place for the August award. If your vaccinated status is not currently on file with the company, you will not be awarded LIM trips in the August PBS award.

What does this mean for TTS/UBL, ROTA/D and ETB?

The vaccine restriction has been lifted for these scheduling systems. All Flight Attendants, whether vaccinated or unvaccinated, will be able to be awarded or assigned LIM trips in TTS/UBL, ROTA/D, and ETB for trips originating July 15th and onward. Once TTS opens for August, you may trade, drop or pick up LIM trips originating in August with no vaccination restriction.

•  Unvaccinated Flight Attendants are not permitted to enter enclosed spaces outside of the hotel/hotel restaurant.
• KN95 masks or two surgical masks are required to be worn inside the LIM airport, the crew hotel, and any other public establishment.
