9.04.22 – Flight Attendant Drug and Alcohol Program (FADAP): September is Recovery Month
Sunday, September 4, 2022
September 2022 is National Recovery Month, a time to celebrate and support sobriety, whether you are in recovery or just sober curious. The goal of Recovery Month is to increase awareness about substance use and mental health disorders.
Recovery month is also a time to promote education about treatment options for substance use and mental health services.
September is also a month to celebrate recovery. Recovery stories are important to help break the stigma surrounding addiction and spread hope that recovery is possible, even when the cycle of addiction seems endless.
