In Memory of Catherine (Catt Salio) Napper

All,

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my dear friend and fellow Union advocate Catt Napper. Catt passed peacefully in her sleep last night after a long hard fought battle with cancer.

Catt was the APFA Regional Representative for Miami for over a decade, and prior to that she served as the the SFO Vice-Chair for six years. She was a tenacious advocate for our Flight Attendants, and was well respected by her counterparts at the Company.

Please keep Catt and her family in your thoughts and prayers. She will be missed.

Catt’s Obituary

Catherine Anne Napper, 58, of Woodstock, GA, passed away on September 16, 2022 after a fearless battle with cancer.

Catt was born on February 12, 1964 to Don & Joanne Salio in Orange County. After graduating from Esperanza High School in 1983, she went on to study Communications with a Minor in Theatre at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

After graduation, she landed her first job as a Flight Attendant for American Airlines for 35 years.

In 1992, she met John Napper, and they wed in 1994, going on to have two children, Devon & Mason Napper. She also took on the role of mother to John’s daughter, Meghan Williams.

Catt brought joy and laughter to the many lives she touched. She was the life of the party and always ready for a good time. Her life was filled with smiles, love and dancing. Catt was selfless and lived to help improve the lives of others. She enjoyed traveling the world with Devon and cheering on Mason at his football games.

Catt had friends all over that she continued to stay in touch with. From her childhood friends in Orange County, American Airlines and APFA community, the life long friends she made in Burlingame and South Florida, to her Crossfit Community here in Georgia. She touched the lives of so many, leaving positive and cherished memories. We will miss her greatly.

The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to 329 Davis Lane Woodstock, GA 30188.

There will be a celebration of life memorial on October 2nd in Georgia. More information will be posted soon.
