December 2022 PHL Staffing and Allocations
December does look a little different than November. We will have domestic 787 flying. ODANs are back for the last two weeks of December (to PIT and BOS).
Our block hours are up slightly for December at 129,986, with PIT having 4,813, an increase over November of 4,794 hours. There will be a 15-20% drop in flying on December 24th/25th and December 31st. The schedule will bounce back between those dates and again after New Year’s Day.
LRD is now open with a projection of 357 reserves. This number does not include the new Flight Attendants we will welcome in November because they will not bid in PBS for December.
The system line average projects at 81 hours. The reserve percentage systemwide is 24.2%, with PHL at 22.5%. There will be no VLOAs offered for December.
