February 2023 Staffing and Allocations

Happy New Year, New York. While we are working on many issues at the base, it is a priority for me to dedicate some time to clarify our flying. Below you will find the February 2023 Allocations Forecast. These allocations forecasts are from me to you. And while not an official way to communicate allocation information, for me, anything that empowers us with knowledge is official business. Feedback is an essential part of keeping these tailored to your needs.

To ALL San Francisco Flight Attendants:

As the Local Base President in New York, I and the base welcome you with open arms. While circumstances and timing may not be optimal, I assure you that you will quickly have a new domicile, family, and support while flying here. As an airline family, through your history, your legacy does not need to go off into the sunset. New York will continue to rise and set along with our career. Please do not hesitate to reach out to Penelope or me if there is anything we can do to help make the transition a little easier.

I always tell New Hires in my presentation at Indoctrination, “Here in New York, we take care of one another,” which comes from my experience of over two decades at this base.
