American Airlines Flight Attendant Negotiations Entering Critical Phase: Picketing Continues
(Euless, TX) — On Tuesday, January 24th, 2023, American Airlines Flight Attendants, represented by the Association of Professional Flight Attendants (APFA), will hold another round of picketing events at eleven Flight Attendant bases across the United States. Contract negotiations are entering a critical phase, and management must hear loudly and clearly that Flight Attendants are ready for contractual improvements.
“American Flight Attendants have been waiting years for improvements to compensation, reserve duty, scheduling, and vacation,” said Julie Hedrick, National President of the Association of Professional Flight Attendants. “This is not concessionary bargaining, and we are ready to take action. Time is up for management to bring these negotiations to a close.”
