2023 BOS Base President Election Update

BOS Flight Attendants,

Last Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at 1000 CT the Willingness-to-Serve (WTS) closed for the 2023 Base Representative Elections. The Willingness-to-Serve submissions were collected, and the names of all candidates and references were sent to the APFA Membership Department for eligibility confirmation.

After this process, the National Ballot Committee (NBC) determined which candidates were duly elected by virtue of running unopposed and which bases/positions required an election.

At the time of the initial eligibility check, it was determined that there were two eligible candidates that submitted at WTS for BOS Base President. However, after further review of the candidates’ eligibility, it was determined that one of the candidates was not eligible as of the WTS closing deadline (1000 CT, January 18, 2023).

As a result, Kelli Powers has been certified as the Duly Elected BOS Base President in the 2023 Base Representative Elections. Therefore, there will not be an election in BOS.
