Call to Action! Protection from Abusive Passengers Act
CALL TO ACTION! Urge your Senators and Representatives in Washington to co-sponsor the Protection from Abusive Passengers Act, because assault doesn’t fly!
The Protection from Abusive Passengers Act is designed to hold unruly passengers accountable for their behavior. It directs TSA to establish a banned passenger list for those who are convicted of assault on the airplane.
Flight Attendants are frontline essential workers, and we continue to face physical and verbal abuse. We need the added the accountability of a TSA “no-fly” list to protect all aviation employees and passengers.
Your action is critical! Call the Senators and Representatives that you sent to Washington and ask them to co-sponsor the Protection from Abusive Passengers Act (H.R. 2394/S. 1058). Feel free to add your own personal story about any disruptive passenger experience you’ve witnessed.
APFA members thank Senator Reed (D-RI), Representative Swalwell (CA-14), and Representative Fitzpatrick (PA-01) for introducing this bill.
