Workers Strike Back – May 11th!

Team PHL,

The right & ability for workers to strike has been under attack. It’s one of our most significant tools, as labourers, to fight for workplace improvements and a better contract.

As we get closer to the latter stages of our own Section 6 Negotiations it is important to be educated about what a strike means, and how we can come together for one successful movement.

The labour organisation Workers Strike Back is hosting events around the U.S. this month. There will be a Defend the Right to Strike protest in Philadelphia outside the office of union-busting Morgan Lewis on Market Street, May 11th from 18:00 – 20:00. Come join our union sisters & brothers across industries to show solidarity and see firsthand how we are a part of something bigger.
