Critical Period

  • Saturday, July 01 thru Friday, July 07. “Absences from any flight assignments that occur on any date of a critical period receive one additional point under the dependability program.”
  • Incentive Credit (Reward Bank): Saturday, July 01 thru Friday, July 07.
    • “Flight Attendants the work all operational assignments (sequences, airport standby assignments, Reserve Availability Periods (RAPS), and special assignments) and have no absences or removals (e.g., Sick, FMLA, Jury Duty, Military, Personal, Bereavement, etc.), including pre-planned absences and removals, on days during a critical period accrue one (1) incentive credit that will reduce a future point-generating dependability event. Employees may earn up to three (3) incentive credits per year. Incentive credits are unlimited and do not expire.”

Holidays/Special Events:

  • St. Lucia Carnival (UVF) added frequencies and up gauged equipment 13JUL thru 18JUL.
  • Fourth of July Holiday Period : Sunday, July 02 thru Friday, July 07. Pulldown in narrow-body PM flying, bank cancellations on 7/3 (B9) and 7/4 (B1).

Bank Structure:

  • DFW will operate nine (9) banks in July with narrow-body cuts on Tuesday and Wednesday. AUS will have a pull-down in flying on Saturday for the month of July.

Allocated Hours for July:

DFW: 392,855 block hours, an increase of 2,742 hours from June. AUS: 1,505 block hours, increase of 17 hours from June. STL: 4,482 block hours, increase of 126 hours from June.
