LGA Flight Attendants,
The 2023 LGA Base Vice President Election is currently being conducted online by secret ballot, and closes on Friday, August 18, 2023, at 10:00 am (CT). Or if you previously requested a paper ballot, it must be mailed back to the designated PO Box and received by 10:00 am (CT), August 18, 202
With the balloting credentials you received, it contains a QR code/website link to take you to the Candidate Information Booklet located on the APFA.org under Union Elections.
Duplicate Balloting Credentials
If you did not receive your balloting credentials (or need a replacement), you may request duplicate balloting credentials by contacting our election partner, YesElections Help Desk at: (866) 384-9978 or [email protected]. You will be required to verify your identity with the representative.
Voting Eligibility
To be eligible to vote, you must be an active member in good standing. A member is considered in good standing so long as they have met their dues obligation, with no dues in arrears for more than sixty (60) days. For your vote to count, you must be an active member in good standing by this Monday, August 14, 2023, at 5:00 pm (CT). (APFA Constitution Article II – Section 4.A-C, APFA Constitution Article VI – Section 4.B & 4.D, APFA Policy Manual Section 14.M.)
You may check if you are a member in good standing or pay your dues by clicking ‘Login’ on APFA.org. After logging in, the top right corner of the site will show any applicable dues balances and you can simply click on that amount to go right to the payment screen.
If you’re not able to vote online because you are not in good standing and become current/in good standing you will be able to vote shortly after making your payment. If you need assistance updating your voting eligibility, please reach out to the NBC at: [email protected]. For assistance in logging into the APFA website, help paying dues, or confirming your membership status, contact the APFA Membership/Dues Department at (817) 540-0108.
Ballot Count
The ballot count will take place next Friday, August 18, 2023, at 10:00am (CT). The ballot count will commence at the APFA Headquarters in the Unity Pays conference room. Once the National Ballot Committee certifies the election results, a hotline will be sent to the membership.
