Strike Authorization Vote

This is for every time you worked for free, waited on hold with Scheduling for hours, or did your job and everyone else’s.

This is for missing hotel rooms, being treated like a number, and the erosion of our contract and decades of past practice.

This is for showing up during a pandemic, being bodyguards and first responders, and flying while ill and fatigued because of punitive points.

This is for the broken promise of retaining “The Best of Both” during the merger, and Flight Attendants being held to a higher standard than other employee groups.

This is your chance no matter what seniority, to say “Enough!”

Actions speak louder than words and WE ARE TAKING ACTION.

We have also seen a large spike in the number of peer-to-peer conflicts.

What resources do we have when this occurs with a co-worker?

1. Reach out to your Captain.
2. Call your local APFA Base Leadership.
3. Contact Professional Standards and Employee Assistance.

With over 26,000+ Flight Attendants, we may not always see eye-to eye on every issue and that’s okay.  But once it escalates, affects the operations, goes to Human Resources or the Company, then get ready for a thorough and lengthy formal investigation in which rarely do all parties win.

We know stress is high for a variety of reasons, and therefore remain committed to making sure all Flight Attendants get the help and support needed.
